This publication is a reflection of the importance of this mineral to North Carolina and the United States. Includes description of 20 selected mines, as well as 6 figures and 19 plates. The Franklin-Sylva District comprises parts of Macon, Haywood, and Transylvania counties. By J.C. Olson and others, 1946.
