Bedrock Geologic Map of the LEICESTER 7.5-minute Quadrangle,<br>North Carolina -<br>NCGS Open File Report 2005-03

The geologic map for the Leicester quadrangle has been created as a general-purpose map that is applicable to land-related investigations in the earth, environmental and biological sciences. This map will include Schmidt Equal Area Stereonet Data, Stream Sediment Heavy Mineral Analysis, a cross section and descriptions of map units. Approximate map size: 42"x34". Approximate scale - 1:24,000. Covers part of Buncombe County and Madison County.
