This map is a detailed geologic map of the Hyco Shear zone in the vicinity of Yanceyville and Anderson, North Carolina. It was prepared, in part, to supplement the 2017 Carolina Geological Society annual field trip guidebook. The map has been created as a general-purpose map that is applicable to land-related investigations in the earth, environmental and biological sciences.
