This map is a detailed geologic map of the Hyco Shear zone in the vicinity of Milton and Leasburg, North Carolina. It was prepared, in part, to supplement the 2017 Carolina Geological Society annual field trip guidebook. The map has been created as a general-purpose map that is applicable to land-related investigations in the earth, environmental and biological sciences. Includes one cross section, rock unit descriptions, two stereonets and a rose diagram. Covers portions of Caswell and Person Counties, North Carolina. Approximate scale - 1:24,000.
