

The geologic map for the Leicester quadrangle has been created as a general-purpose map that is applicable to land-related investigations in the earth, environmental and biological sciences. This map will include Schmidt Equal Area Stereonet Data, Stream Sediment Heavy Mineral Analysis, a cross section and descriptions of map units. Approximate map size: 42"x34". Approximate scale - 1:24,000. Covers part of Buncombe County and Madison County.
