

The geologic map for the Hot Springs quadrangle has been created as a general-purpose map that is applicable to land-related investigations in the earth, environmental and biological sciences. This map will include Stream Sediment Heavy Mineral Analysis, two cross sections and descriptions of map units. Approximate map size: 42"x34". Approximate scale - 1:24,000. Covers part of Madison County in NC, as well as a portion of Tennessee.
